Artistically, she is a great choice. It is, however, ironic, to say the least.

You are not nominated for an Oscar for Best Actress or Best Supporting Actress seven times, winning twice, without being talented. I suspect your opinions of Jane Fonda regarding her acting abilities are based more on her politics as opposed to her actual acting talent.
