Rangers Draft Paralyzed UGA Player Johnathan Taylor
Every once in a while a story comes along to bring faith back into humanity...
Rangers Draft Paralyzed UGA Player Johnathan Taylor
Quote:
In a very classy move, University of Georgia outfield Johnathan Taylor was selected by the Texas Rangers in the MLB draft on Wednesday. Taylor was left paralyzed in an on-field collision with a teammate last March.
Taylor’s collision with teammate Zach Cone left him paralyzed but not broken. His world was changed, and so were the lives of his Bulldog teammates.
But on Wednesday, he was chosen by the Rangers in the draft’s 33rd round. Cone was also drafted by the rangers on Monday. Texas Director of Amateur Scouting Kip Fagg said the team's selection of Taylor was "something we felt was right."
