I challenge anyone to come up with a better group.

Musical appreciation is very subjective.

Good band, good tune, but I can think of others that I appreciate just as much.

I thought the same thing - it would be pretty much impossible for me to narrow down songs and bands to the point where I could declare one song or one band the best ever - as you point out songs are subjective - a person's mood when listening to a song can make a huge difference.
