Default Sen. Obama Rewrites History, Claims He Hasn't Been Planning White House Run

This is just sad...

Obama asserts that his goals weren't always to become the POTUS...

How does Hillary confron that statement?...Umong other things, this littl tidbit...

Sen. Obama Rewrites History, Claims He Hasn't Been Planning White House Run

Quote:
In third grade, Senator Obama wrote an essay titled 'I Want To Be a President.' His third grade teacher: Fermina Katarina Sinaga "asked her class to write an essay titled 'My dream: What I want to be in the future.' Senator Obama wrote 'I want to be a President,' she said." [The Los Angeles Times, 3/15/07]

In kindergarten, Senator Obama wrote an essay titled 'I Want to Become President.' "Iis Darmawan, 63, Senator Obama's kindergarten teacher, remembers him as an exceptionally tall and curly haired child who quickly picked up the local language and had sharp math skills. He wrote an essay titled, 'I Want To Become President,' the teacher said." [AP, 1/25/07 ]
That's right...

Hillary is trying to attack Obama's contention by pointing things out he said when he wasn't even 10 years old...

That's pretty pathetic...

It's worse that we choose the two examples listed at the bottom (thus with less impact) than listing the three more current and more relevant examples.

Alone the comments at that young age are unimportant. In concert with several other comments as he aged, it showed a real desire to run. *shrug* I don't care. I don't think him claiming that he didn't want to run is a big deal. Most people say that to give themselves the appearance of modesty.

They just ask them to be smart, truthful, honest, and show a modicum of good sense." Ann Richards, Former Texas Governor

No...

Saying you want to be an astronaut in college is helluva lot different than saying you want to be one in the 3rd grade...Adding those quotes takes away from the issue by adding childish (literally) imaginations...By adding these quotes, Hillary is trying to make it out that the aspirations and plans of Obama have been hatched while learning to tie his shoes...

Would it not be true? What about the kid that wasn't to be an astronaut in kindergarten and through high school and into college and actually goes to work for NASA? Wouldn't that person have been hatching a plan the entire time, refocusing and reinforcing the goal?

It's not unreasonable to believe that Senator Obama wanted to be President since he was knee-high to a grasshopper. *shrug* It is what it is. If he said that he never intended to run for President and that was all she had, sure Hillary would look stupid, but in this case it's merely additional evidence as one would present for the child who wanted to be an astronaut and grew up to be one.

Regardless if it was a joke or not the analysis is correct. Does that make it important? I've never said that it was important, just valid.
