Good for the future though

A legal cloud hanging over nearly 127,000 votes already cast in Harris County was at least temporarily lifted Sunday when the Texas Supreme Court rejected a request by several conservative Republican activists and candidates to preemptively throw out early balloting from drive-thru polling sites in the state's most populous, and largely Democratic, county.

It's a shame that the Texas GOP would try to pull this weaksauce last minute stunt. I don't care who it helps or hurts, you do not mess with peoples' votes.

haha their don't throw trash motto is "don't mess with Texas"
But it's a little late for that. And to think Democrats helped Republicans build a party. I know. I was there.

Nobody is surprised. The GOP decided when Obama was elected that democracy does not work for them. Actually trying to expand their base is too hard when you can just become the party of white grievance and racism. Therefore, cheating, lying and disenfranchisement is the only chance they have of retaining their small grasp on power.

We need a real conservative party absolutely. And as we watch the collapse of the GOP over the next few months, it will become quite obvious that the GOP will remain the party of tRUmp. A new party must emerge, one that is interested in actually governing and making peoples lives better and not just power for powers sake.
