Default Trump and Biden

This is surely the ugliest presidential campaign that I have ever seen.

Joe Biden has recently declared that Donald Trump is "unfit" to be president.

Now that is hitting beneath the belt!

And his characterization of President Trump's early handling of Covid-19 as "almost criminal" is certainly no better.

But President Trump cannot be allowed off the hook here, either.

His labeling of Joe Biden as "Sleepy Joe''--some time ago--is also beneath the belt.

It is just very nasty--on both sides.

It isn't hitting "beneath the belt" if it's true. Trump was never fit to be president and it remains an act of incredible recklessness that voters put him in the White House.

To claim that "Trump was never fit to be president and it remains an act of incredible recklessness that voters put him in the White House" is reminiscent of the slogan I saw in which President Trump declares, "They don't hate me; they hate you [the American people]. I'm just in the way."

He’s wrong. Like many, I hate Trump and the numbskulls who elected him. As I have noted before, Trump is just a symptom. His voters are the disease.

The disease is anti-American, anti-Constitution, anti-Liberty leftists like you; voters like me are the cure. You and your ilk will soon be excised from power from many levels and departments of government and marginalized and exiled from civilized society . . . Perhaps somewhere where you can live happily with the criminals, looters and assorted ne'er-do-well's that you love, embrace and support.

You are the pariah, you are the destroyer of good, you and the rest of the despicable leftists are the enemy.

Lol. The electoral plurality that gave us Trump is entirely dependent on a single demographic that is fairly rapidly shrinking as a percentage of the overall population: white men without college degrees. As that group shrinks, the chances of Trump 2.0 shrinks with them.

That sounds like something Chris Matthews wrote as a soothing lullaby for a hopeless, panicked leftist to repeat, trying to fall asleep at night.

As much as you would like to dismiss it, it is true. Trump won white men without college degrees by almost 50 points. He lost among all other voters by around 20 points. And white men without college degrees is a fairly rapidly shrinking share of the population.

Hillary called voters she needed "Deplorables".

Name calling is a fact of political campaigns.
