Default Iowa Democratic Caucus Results

It's 8 am EST and the results of the Iowa Democratic Caucus still have not been released. Something as simple as tabulating district results appears to be too complicated for the Iowa Democrats to complete. If Democrats cannot count votes, how do they expect to be able to run a country?

There is nothing complicated about tabulation of the IOWA caucus results. Except for their explanation of what it was. I'm betting it was not what the DNC wanted.

This is the same party that holds secret basement meetings in Congress so that WE THE PEOPLE don't know what they are planning for our duly elected President.

This is the same party that said we have to pass legislation before WE THE PEOPLE an see what is in it.

This is the party that doesn't want even it 's own people to know the results of their caucus vote.

And yet, they want WE THE PEOPLE to trust THEM to run the country.

If it wasn't so sad and frankly scary, I would be laughing my @ss off.

They can't do something as simple as counting votes but want us to trust them to run our Healthcare system.

Itís screwed up, but recall that the Iowa Republican caucus results were screwed up in 2012 as well. But neither has any bearing on the eventual nomineeís ability to govern.

And the Republicans lost in 2012.
Are you proving the point or what?

And how exactly did the screw up in the 2012 Republican caucuses in Iowa contribute to that loss? Did anyone even remember it when the election was held in November? Iím certain they did not. I had forgotten about it completely until it was discussed last night as part of the coverage of this yearís screw up. To suggest that the administrative failures of the Iowa Republican Party or the Iowa Democratic Party have any bearing on the ability of the partyís nominee to govern is compete nonsense.

Actually, I agree with you. To be completely honest, I was posting this somewhat in jest.

However, one would have to question their overall competence. This time, they are blaming an app crashing or having "coding" issue. But this is the same party that spent $5 billion on the Obamacare website (that could have been done at a mere fraction of that amount) that never really worked as planned. At some point, you really need to question their leadership skills.

ďIn jest,Ē but now youíre repeating almost verbatim Trumpís idiotic propaganda take on all of this. The Iowa Democratic Party runs the caucuses. They arenít going to have any role in a future Biden or Sanders administration, so itís foolish to worry or project how they would handle government tasks.

(And by the way, that $5 billion figure that Trump throws around is complete bullshlt.)

Well it wasn't the Republicans that were in charge at that time. You seem to want to give Dems credit when things go right while they're in charge but then say they are not responsible when the tables are reversed.

Perhaps then you could tell us the true figure. All I know is that if it was over a couple of million dollars, we were all ripped off.
