Julián Castro gov't abortion for trans

...Wednesday night’s Democratic debate, Julián Castro was asked whether his health care plan would cover abortion.
“Yes, it would,” Castro said. “I don’t believe only in reproductive freedom. I believe in reproductive justice.”

Standard fare for a Democratic candidate. But then he continued.

“And, you know, what that means is that just because a woman — or let’s also not forget someone in the trans community, a trans female — is poor, doesn’t mean they shouldn’t have the right to exercise that right to choose. And so I absolutely would cover the right to have an abortion.”
:( :crazy:eek

Trans females should have access to abortions?
seriously?

What do say to people so far gone that that would even come out of their mouths... in a presidential debate no less.

the article writer reached out to find out what he really meant by that.

“What he was trying to do was say, ‘Yes, women do need access to abortion, but it’s also important to remember that a lot of times you need a path for trans folks as well,’” Rupert added.

I think he said what he meant, the acceptance of transgenderism's assertions that they "ARE women" or "ARE men" can't help but lead their supporters into embracing the unreality as well.

Re: Julián Castro gov't abortion for trans

YEARS ago, in the early 90s, I bought a Christian Video cassette that was a satirical critique of our culture's philosophical drift away from moral absolutes and historically Christian foundations.
A running part of the satire was a 3 against 1 Phil Donahue show and the parting joke was that "next weeks show" was going to be about a "Man suing the gov't to become a woman so he could have a therapeutic abortion."

I thought it was a great over the top joke, turns out it was a prophecy.
