But after the first couple of minutes of these Obama supporters not knowing who Barney Frank, Nancy Pelosi, and Harry Reid are, we find out how vastly UN-IGNORANT they are when it comes to media-driven issues like Palin's clothes and her daughter's pregnancy...Then, to top it off, they get interviewed on Obama's stupid statements and to a tee, every last one of them thought it was Palin or McCain who did them...some even going so far as to say "That's something Palin would say" even though it was Obama that said them...

Just being an informed voter, this should make you cringe...

Look at the title. "How Obama Got Elected..."

The implication is that he got elected because of ignorance.
I see ignorance as epidemic across the board. Voters on both sides of the aisles.

If we wanted to keep this in perspective, there have been similar polls on 'ignorance' in the past. Like a poll that found Fox News watchers were the most "ignorant" out of a variety of News Organizations' viewers.
At least that compared MULTIPLE groups, instead of just fixating on the one that they wanted to insinuate negatively against.

I don't think "ignorance" had anything to do with why Obama won. Just because you poll people about smears on both sides does NOT mean that DEFINED WHY they voted for Obama.

As shown, the ignorance was ONLY on the stuff about Obama and Biden...

When it came to media-driven issues (Who has a pregnant teenage daughter?...Who had a $150,000 wardrobe?...Who didn't know how many houses they have?), these same people where the smartest people under the sun...Over 80% of the people surveyed got THOSE questions right.

So it's not about "ignorance" in and of itself...It's about selective ignorance on the part of both the ones interviewed AND the media's lack of consisant reporting to get the information out there (They did a GREAT job when it came to issues of clothes and personal information on the Republican candidates, didn't they?)...

Two out of the Three people/things you just cited WERE among the 12 questions asked by the poll.
Ayers was mentioned directly by name and "share the wealth" was the Joe the plumber reference. They didn't bother to poll about Wright cause even these morons know about "G__ Damn America!" and "U S of KKK A" and are just to biased to understand "what was wrong with it". They could actually name ALL 4 of the candidates even though they couldn't tell you WHO is third in line for president RIGHT NOW.

I've done my own surveys and found very few Obama supporters that could even carry on an intelligent discussion about the very things they vote on or support politically.

I wrote this in the dirt on the back of my truck. The blue parts I added after election day with the questions to the right side of the original writings. I got and still get many questions about it and invariably the most often asked question is "1929,1939 ...........what's that?"

The not so funny part though is that even many of the Nobama folks have to ask even though once I explain it to them they agree.
The best part however is that while driving down the road when someone passes me and gives me "the thumbs up" I KNOW that THEY understood it completely.

48% did NOT vote for Obama and MANY, many more stayed home and did not vote at all because Mccain is NOT a conservative. The "silent majority" stayed silent this time so my best advice to liberals is "don't blow it" cause next time we won't be silent.
By the way those tolerant free speech liberals have scratched out the "Nobama" part.
