Of course the difference being that in this case there is more evidence than he said/she said. Did you read the article? He was texting pictures of his genitals, Anthony Wiener style.

I have to say, I appreciate the fact that many on the left are clearly outraged about Weinstein, the dem candidate of this thread, Kevin Spacey, and the many other sexual abusers/predators that are being exposed.
And frankly, I'm disappointed with many conservatives for defending Roy Moore so blindly.

In this case Moore clearly appears JUST AS guilty as many of Hollywood and Politicians of the left are. And the age of his victims puts Moore a category with some of the worse of them.
While I support some of the political views promoted by Moore, It's convincing to me that the guy at least HAD a real problem. People that worked him at the time even saying that as a 30-year old man Moore trolled high school football games and the malls looking for young girls to "date".
Hopefully, all that is in the past. But as many have said it's not something many seem to get over.

And I agree with many lesser heard voices among evangelical leaders that this is missed opportunity for the conservatives on the wider social front. Here we have a chance to unite with the current bold attacks on the prevalence and culture of sexual abuse. Here's a place where conservatives and liberals AGREE on a moral issue but too many "conservatives" are more concerned about ONE political candidate/race than a clear moral issue.

Sadly it's a pattern I've complained about too often over the decades. Conservative politics trumping so-called conservative moral values. From abortion, to torture, to dismissing Trump's sexual (and other moral) issues to now defending a statutory rapist and sexual abuser again for some supposed greater "conservative" political goals.

Those that lean social right like myself may be in the minority in these complaints, but we're not buying this crap.
And I agree with those on the left and right that say Moore and ANY other politicians that have credible accusations against them (as Moore does) should be exposed and not in public office.

The fact that the left has been hypocritical on this issue in the past and have defended politicians with similar (or worse) issues and kept them in office for years/decades is no excuse for conservatives to DO THE SAME. And a very real missed opportunity to LEAD BY EXAMPLE.

Libs ignoring/defending sexual harassment by one of their own?

Shocker.

Today Trump tweeted that French polls show that just 26% approve of Macron.

What he forgot to mention is that these same polls show that 84% of French citizens believe Trump is 'racist', 83% say he's "dangerous" and 79% say he's "incompetent"

Thanks for pointing the polls out!
