The fact is the STRAWMAN IS yer fav, CLOSELY followed by yer second fav, which is the RED HERRING, WHICH itself is closely followed by the MOVABLE GOALPOST.
As a matter of fact, you managed all three of the above in the below post(#2) with which contains one topic question, one movable goalpost, AND the obligatory AZRWinger red herring, PLUS a semi ad homonym in ONE post.

Lies on both attempted claims.

a) NAME the juvenile name that treedancer supposedly called you...

b) Pointing out the logical fallacies of another person's post is entirely topical.

The court moved the goalposts, not yer.

Those 500 mile long and in some places 100 ft wide districts were created under judges orders to ensure that there were districts likely to vote Democrat by including more blacks. Didn't work out, BTW. Turned out voters are smarter than judges.

It happened in my district. Turned out that there way too many black voters than needed, so my predominately WASP district was broken up and we got put in Richmond and some Richmond blacks got moved into predominately white districts. Fair is fair doncha' know.

No.
QUOTE THE RULING where the judges ordered "500 mile long and in some places 100 ft wide districts".
You can't do it because it didn't happen.

Cut the #### jimbo. The gerrymandering that was shown in that picture was not because of the previous court ruling.

Again, this is like pretending that if the court rules that providing too much water (e.g. drowning) is wrong, then implying that the court should not be able to rule providing too little water (e.g. dehydration) is also wrong.
This is like pretending that the court ruling that providing too much water (e.g. drowning) is wrong caused the resultant dehydration. The court ruling did not produce those districts. That was done by politicians seeking to prolong their power.

Neither the judges nor the voters set those lines.

The b.s. in this thread is astounding.
It was a year ago in August when the judges ruled against the lawmakers, finding that 28 of the 170 districts used to elect North Carolina’s General Assembly members were drawn to weaken the influence of black voters across the state.
That is why the districts were drawn the way they were...
THAT is the issue the courts ruled on.
