Default Did you vote the "party line"?

How about it? Did anyone here vote against "thier" party's official line? Did any Dems. here vote for Reps.? Did any Reps. here vote for Dems.?

I voted about 90% party line, voting for a couple of local Dems. who have done a great job and voted against one measure that the OR Rep. party wanted me to vote for. How'd the rest of you do???

I just voted...

I went across the party line, but I also voted for the Constitution Party in a local race...

As I've said previously, my choices in this election were "not good" and "hell", but one thing I would NOT do is prevent myself from voting on the local stuff...

For all we know, you may help the local attorney general become president in 16 years...

I had 3 questions...

3 were easy..."Do you want the city to apply for a loan..." (NO!!!!!)...

But 1 had me stumped for a minute...

Paraphrasing - "Should citizens with 1 year or more residency applying for city jobs receive more consideration for those jobs than someone who has been a resident for less than one year if their scores are equal?...

I voted "yes", but I'm still conflicted...I don't know if cities should be held to the same citizenship record as the country...Maybe the bigger offices like Mayor or Atty. Gen., but I don't know about the average civil service job...

I voted "Yes" for taking a portion of county funds to start a mosquito control district. The money goes straight to the equipment and the sprayer/operator.
Voted for Bill Sali (R) for congress, because he voted not to do the bail out.
Voted R and C Party on some local races. All others D.
Another reason I voted for Sali (who is in a tight race today) is because he writes back (or someone on his staff does) when you ask him a question or give him your views. I like that.

I split my ticket. Federal = Democrats, state = Didn't vote (I'm not voting for the crappy incumbents I have), County = 50/50 split, local = Republican.

I voted against all amendments to the constitution.
I voted to keep two out of 6 judges.
I voted for two bond issues (education/health) and against two bond issues (senior citizens center/technology)

Voted straight party ticket although I have on rare occasion crossed party lines for a candidate. Abstained from voting on a statewide referrendum, but now thinking "no" would have been appropriate.

I voted straight party even though I usually don't do that. Our local elections (mayor, etc. were earlier in the year.)

I voted early to be sure nothing unexpected could prevent me from voting in this election.

I voted to return one Democrat to the House and one Republican to the Senate - I felt both of them had done a good job.

We had ten amendments on various city and county issues, the most important of which was to require a vote by the citizens before our public utility company could be sold. Since our mayor (who would sell his mother if he could get a good price) had already tried to sell our LGW, I voted to vote on that!
