I'm sure these figures will fluctuate a bit but we are getting close to the election date.

They are looking at potentially 7 Senate seats changing to Democrat.

I don't have to worry about Idaho, none of our senate seats will change. But I vote differently when it comes to local and representative stuff. Not sure if our senators are up for election this year or not.
And I think it's safe to predict Idaho will remain a red state Presidentially speaking
But Oregon was a question. Although it has become more conservative in recent years, I think they're going to go with Obama this year.

The last I saw Oregon was solid for Obama and leaning Democrat in the Senate election... Merkley ahead of Gordon Smith.

New Mexico looks like it may go full blue for the first time.

At this point, the print and television media performed an orgy to congratulate themselves on all their hard work...

Gordon Smith's been in there 12 or 13 years. What's he gonna do?

I guess he's gonna have to get a real job.

Domenici has been in office for over 35 years and is finally retiring. Looks like he is going to be replaced with Tom Udall a Democrat.

Ted Stevens looks to be losing to Begich

Allard is retiring and it looks like his seat is going to be replaced with Mark Udall, a democrat.

Elizabeth Dole is trailing behind Kay Hagan

Jean Shaheen is ahead of John Sununu

Warner (D) is going to replace Warner (R) in Virginia

Landrieu was the risky incumbent and it appears that she has a substantial lead.

Heck, even ol Al Franken is closing the gap on Coleman.

Thats all good for my team. But I wish that the media would spend more time on what these guys are actually saying rather then who scored a point here and there. Or how they looked. Or if they looked at each other etc.

While the Republicans ensconce themselves in blaming everybody but themselves for the public's dissatisfaction with their performance.
It's not Bush's fault that he screwed up.
It's not the Republican's fault in having a platform that embraces Bush.
Palin hasn't lost points because she looks like a bumbling fool repeating meaningless talking point phrases.

It's everybody else's fault!
