All these baseless, sexist attacks are really starting to disgust me. It seems to be neverending with every day some other asshole Dem or Dem supporter doing or saying the totally unthinkable.

The way some of these folks are behaving it makes me ashamed to be American.

... and all these years they tried to paint themselves as some sort of party of tolerance.

I think Carol Fowler's sole qualification to be the Democratic Chairwoman in SC is that her mother didn't have an abortion.
You know you are running a candidate who makes jokes about woman being raped by gorillas and liking it. I can start going down a list of offensive remarks by the right. I don't blame you for their foolish statements. Why should I be ashamed of what this nut said. Because she says she is a Dem? You guys always extrapolate beyond the idiot talking. Are you cruising bathrooms at airports because Larry Craig was? Lets keep these comments directed at the moron that says them.

Let's face it. Sarah Palin is exactly what the right has tried to paint Obama as for months-
an empty suit.
And however crudely the Carolina politician worded it it's still the truth.

Yeah let's ignore the whole reformer thing. The fact that she's proven herself to be willing to take on corruption regardless of party lines. That has nothing to do with her selection as VP...

I won't call her a liar; let's just say she padded the old resume.
She is not a reformer. She's a popular new Governor of a western state.

But "reformer" is not quite the phrase. More like "pork barrel spender". Which is not to say she is any different from a gazillian other politicians. It just means she's not a "reformer".

So what would you call her anti-corruption efforts?? Or is the fact that she was willing to take on her own political party mean nothing to you? Why is it that so many people just refuse to give the lady credit where credit is due?

I would not discount her accomplishments. My problem with her is her "end justifies the means" mentality. Her brother in law was a jerk, gotta fire him no matter the cost. She wanted to shake up government, appoint all her friends to office. In the process she doesn't want anyone to know what she's doing, use her personal e-mail which would not be subject to inquiry. Hussein needs to be taken out, destroy a country and wrack up billions of dollars in debt in the process. Oops! that wasn't her, Well you get the idea, I can't put up with eight more years of that,

Let's not forget that now her entire staff is refusing to participate in the inquiry on the whole firing issue. I wonder if that's because they're all her buddies? And I must ask one more time, that's okay with you??? The Palin Wall,

OK I assumed you knew that the bridge to Nowhere project was one she hired lobbyists to get through and then decided she didn't want any part of when she saw it was politically hurtful.

If true, I don't see how that hurts the fact that she was eventually correct...

Do you convict those who want to rob a bank for a week but on the day of the planned robbery decide it's the wrong thing to do?...

And how would you compare this to the current Democratic pick for president AND his vice-presidential pick voting FOR the Bridge to Nowhere...TWICE...and NEVER backing away from their vote at all...?

Isn't it funny?...

"The Republican VP pick is bad because she ALMOST let an earmark through that the Democratic candidate AND the Democratic VP pick voted for!"...

How dare she ALMOST did something that stupid...
