Back out of what? Who said anything about backing out. I'd be more than happy to continue showing the forum how you have been unable to provide any facts. You just want us to leap to the same conclusion based upon a leading fact.

Example of a true argument...

1. The United States of America has the highest rate of teen suicide.

Now, while that statement may or may not be true, research has been performed by qualified individuals and we can prove that statement to be true or false.

Example of an opinion

2. The United States of America is the greatest country in the world.

While we may FEEL that this is true, we can't really intellectually prove it. The reason it can't be proven is the factors that go into determining "greatest". And then of course anyone who pointed out how America doesn't adhere to the group definition of "greatest" would be a traitor.

You keep locking yourself into positions you cannot win. Which is fine. Debate is not always about winning. The problem is that you are debating your opinions as if they are facts.

Perceptional truth and actual truth are two different things. Actual truth is based upon a conglomeration of the evidence alone. Perceptional truth (also called personal truth) is a lesser conglomeration of non-conclusive facts conjoined with the individuals predispositioned beliefs of the situation.

I don't care what your personal truth is. As you don't care what mine is. I'm for the actual truth and all you keep giving me is this personal truth. You claim to have substantiated your claim, but you've failed to support major leaps in your arguments with facts.
