Steal? So far the Rep Convention has been talking about an "American story". Now where have I heard that before? They've drug up every black person they could pay to perform or give a prayer or who might be NOT voting for Obama. The only stirring speech: Fred Thompson.
I'll have to get Palin on Youtube tomorrow. That one I'm looking forward to. I got tired of hearing "We must drill now!". And I gotta go anyway. See ya later, people.

I'll be watching Redskins/Giants. I can record McCain, might flip over briefly if the game is dull. I don't care for O'Reilly and everytime I hear Obama speak or be interviewed he doesn't say anything specific or with certainty. If he stops 'nuancing' his way through every answer I might be interested. I'd like to find out what kind of decisions he might make rather than hear about every possible angle to every dilemma. I can analyze issues from multiple angles too, but he's asking me to pay him to actually make a decision, not provide bits of commentary.

I wanted very much to watch Sarah Palin last night over anything else, and I did. It was like a way being introduced to her.

The sad-sack-not-going-anywhere-but-down Padres were getting beat by the Dodgers, and the ESPN baseball game was about over anyway.

I think I will not watch McCain tonight but watch a rerun of something else.

The sad-sack-not-going-anywhere-but-down Padres have more foreign policy experience than Obama...They lost some cred when Montreal moved to Washington, but every once in awhile they go to Toronto...

And they don't go because their opponants taunted them into it...

Of course, the Padres won't run for the presidency...They're "Padres", and you know about that church and state thing...

The Dodgers are, of course, Obama's team...he's out there everyday dodging his past relationships...and keeps a healthy batting average on it...

Yeah sure. Speaking of Washington, I'll be there in a couple of weeks when I watch the two expansion sisters play each other for the right to own the first draft pick. Should be quite a showdown at Nationals Park. Uh, what did I say?

If that's not bad enough, I'll see the Dodgers in Pittsburgh on the same trip before I drive to Washington, DC. I am sure looking forward to a nice vacation of baseball and politics.

By the middle of the first inning, the crowd will be chanting "Let's go Red-skins (clap-clap-clapclapclap)"...

I think she did. Like I said, I watched/listened to her entire speech. I think she can rouse the party. If she does get to be VP, I believe she can be president. Now, having said that, can you imagine her running against Hillary?

That would make the first female president. And I have yet to hear (I know I am nearly deaf) what Hillary thinks about Ms. Palin.

My partner and I were discussing that last night.
I think it's possibly something that could be strategically saved until later in the game.
Moreover, if Hillary came out now with commentary, it would be one voice amongst a general volley of "Palin" attacks.
Reserving comment for later, less likely to get drowned out in the crowd...

But on a bigger scale, you have Hillary who could get some of the feminist vote, which would have a higher under-current of "pro-rights" on the abortion issue...
... compared to Palin who supports restrictions.

Issue-wise, that would seem a pretty big bait and switch for a liberal Hillary supporter...

I have not decided who I will vote for president, but I do like Sarah Palin. I felt she came on strong. Agree with you, I do. Comments by Hillary may come later.

I don't think, though, Hillary might do that. But you never know.
