This is the first line of the artickle you just posted.

Critics are already trying to damn Sarah Palin for her perceived lack of foreign-policy experience.

Who damned her? And what does he mean by perceived lack of foreign policy experience?

Does your writer explain why this perception is wrong? No. He just starts attacking Biden as being anti Israel.

You guys expect nothing from your party. And every time they screw up you cover for them. All through this war in Iraq. Rummy etc. You just won't accept when one of your own messes up. You are spending all of your time trying to make a silk purse out of a sows ear.

If you are not willing to accept that McCain made a mistake I am wasting my breath. Fine. But don't try to build her up in to something you can defend. I am not trashing her. She is quite a character. I'll give you that. And BTW I am a commercial fisherman. Have been all my life. So I respect her and her husbands work. And I respect her gumption.

But lets leave it at that. I am frankly surprised that you that that editorial would make a case for her. You should reread it.

The more I learn about her the more I like her. That's all I can say.

Like I said. I like her fine. That doesn't equate to I want her to lead my country. I am not going to trash her. I just don't think she has the kind of experience she needs to round out her resume. Maybe by next election she will have time to educate herself more on world affairs etc. I wouldn't vote for her myself because she is too right wing for me. Abortion in cases of rape or incest at an early stage of pregnancy seems reasonable to me. She says no way. Things like that would keep me from voting for her myself. But thats just policy stuff. But she really has too limited an interest up until recently in foreign policy. And the White House is not a good place to start. Maybe in four years she can spend some time building those credentials. What is the hurry with everyone.

Yes, lets' do debate big stuff, like the basic concept of having enough experience to do the job correctly.

Lets do it. First thing is this.

Obama has traveled and lived in other countries. He has been studying foreign affairs his entire life.It was a major in college for him. He has met the leaders of the world. And actually has had private meetings with them. They know each other. He is an accomplished student and teacher. I don't mean just good. But top of his class. You have seen the list. He has worked across the aisle with people like Lugar. He has the experience and knows all of the players. And he already has their respect. On both sides of the aisle. How many times do you have to do it right until your considered good enough?

Sarah Palin in comparison is a novice. Any reasonable thinking person can see that. Does that mean she couldn't do the job successfully? No. But you guys have decided to ignore the facts.I have watched the right all morning changing the subject. Repeating that she is as experienced as he is. If this wasn't politics and both of them brought their qualifications to you for a job who would you hire?
