Is Obama too skinny to be president?

I know, it's a dumb question. In fact, it would be a struggle to think of a more irrelevant and mind-numbing question to ask related to the presidential election.

But it's currently plastered on the front page of the WSJ online.

We're engaged in two wars, the economy may be on the verge of a recession, oil prices are breaking records, the Department of Justice is breaking laws, the healthcare system is broken, there's a global food crisis, and more Americans think the country is on the wrong track than at any other point in history. And with all of these incredibly relevant issues to choose from, the Wall Street Journal decides to dedicate 1,400 words to analyzing whether or not "in a nation in which 66% of the voting-age population is overweight and 32% is obese," Obama's skinniness could be a liability.

Amy Chozick was actually paid to find quotes like, "I won't vote for any beanpole guy," which she pulled from a Yahoo politics message board. This is what passes for journalism today?

Is Obama too skinny to be president? (Ablogistan)

But don't worry.
"The media" favors Obama, except for the Fair and Balanced Fox, and anybody who thinks people are being overly critical of Obama are just upset over their "Obamessiah" not being loved...

Quite frankly, I don't listen to rap music. It's stupid to me.
Does his "music" even hit the top 40? Ever?
But compare that to Fox News, which brags about how far their coverage reaches, and also the wide-reaching range of the WSJ...
And while "Ludacris" is one guy, how many people are forwarding anti-Obama crap on a DAILY basis, without even bothering to check if it's true?

I swear. Is there no end to this anti-Obama lunacy?

Yes, the article IS lame. So many other truths about him that get glossed over by the liberal media. Why this "skinny" article was released...sounds like double reverse psychology at work.

Actually, I believe Obama was playing the race card (because he is black) when he made the currency comment. Sounds like it's all about "keeping the brother down" according to Obama.

But then again, we already know that.

A. There was a long segment on CNN tonite about this article.

B. I think it's a horrible idea that we have a young, slim, healthy, president. Why would we want that?

That would be as bad as having on who is too smart (remember, John Kerry and Al Gore were too "intellectual and educated" to be president?

Geesh. Not Obama. Please, not Obama. Healthy AND smart. We'll never survive it.

Obama was going to get shot down in Vietnam. But he couldn't bring camaras to the Hanoi Hilton.
