WOW!! Reality must be just a dream for you, my friend. If you choose to not look at a person honestly and only judge him based on the parts you want to see, then you are not a wise man, you're a fool. A fool is one who consciously chooses to be ignorant. You are doing exactly this. You are choosing ignorance over knowledge.

Excuse me, but who says that is what I"m doing? I said it once, I'll say it again....you don't know me, stop pretending that you do.
Ain't nobody perfect....everybody has flaws. Including you.
Obama admitted to as much. Out of the field of candidates, with flaws and warts, and all, I prefer him.
Just because I don't agree with you or your assessment of him, does not make me a fool, ignorant, or misguided.
You need to look inside yourself, and see if your negative opinion of him, isn't based on perceived stereotypes and your own racial bias. You've listened to the negative others have attributed to him, and like cattle, followed the herd.
That would be ignorance "personified". Who's the 'real" fool?

I've gotta work with what I can glean from your statements. You clearly said that you don't want to hear anthing bad about Sen. Obama, that's called "denial of reality".

I sure don't. And that's my prerogative. When something I don't want to watch comes on TV, I turn the channel...has nothing to do with "denial", but with "preference". Big difference.
You and others here can hardly speak to anyone about denial of reality, when your very lives, and the words you write, so clearly illustrate the fantasy worlds in which you, yourselves live.
I never saw such hypocrisy, or cretin cronyism as displayed in this very forum...so polarized... and so quick to "point fingers", while never acknowledging any responsibility for the disconnect, past wrongdoings, or even admitting to plain ignorance.
Obama smears, the hurling of racial epithets, the accusations and the discrediting leveled at "so-called" liberals, Democrats, or any one who disagrees with certain myopic points of view...are the standard fare, here. How boring. How self-indulgent.
How politically "neanderthal".
Presidents 1-43 have all been "white men"....now that a black man stands to win the presidency, all hell has broken loose. Folks who never cared one iota for politics, are now, suddenly "politically motivated" to make sure the "unthinkable" never happens...how psychotic is that?
America, itself, is psychotic....in denial about racism...in denial about the gender gap...homophobic. Self-absorbed. Degenerate. Hypocritical. Woefully incompetent and inadequate, academically, spiritually, morally, socially, on every front. But above all, in denial of it all. Can't deal with the truth. So, it smears, it spins, it twists the facts and evidence to make itself seem right, and just, and the object of scorn and envy.
Well, the mad emperor has no stitch of clothes on..and everyone is laughing.
What to do?
Tell the truth...take the medicine to combat the disease state, and work on getting well.....but by all means, get out of denial.
( I know....it's hard to admit you are wrong, and that you've not done all that you can do....but you have to take that first step, in order to get to point B)
Or you can continue to point fingers at me, and exclaim that I don't know what I'm talking about, or that I'm somehow "anti-American", and unpatriotic, the 1st Amendment notwithstanding.

You need serious psychological treatment for that much paranoia....
