'You people', who's that? "boom-shaka-laka-laka, lawd yes." - This is what 'them people' sound like to you I guess, huh? Or were you not referring to Obama speaking this way because he is black? That you can't even acknowledge the whole excerpt is racist is more amazing.

He sounds like a fire and brimstone preacher when he gets going. Sometimes I expect him to bust out with..."Aaaand I've beeeeen to the mountaintop, oh yes lawd!"

If you think all fire and brimstone preachers are black, that's on you and not on me, sparky.

It's an expression. Like calling someone "sport" or "champ". You've never heard that before?

Nope, I spent a good portion of my life in South America (12-22), so some of these things fly right over my head. I am fully bilingual though, so I can't complain. Thanks for clarifying, .

No problem. Where in South America? I have only ever been to Lima, Peru to visit a friend's family. I am going to Rio in Brazil to visit a friend this fall though.

Guayaquil in Ecuador. More similar to Rio, since it is always hot, average daytime temperature 90 degrees. Lima (I believe) is a mountain region right? I loved it there, nothing like spending your teenage years in a country where you can drink, smoke, party and dance all you like, every day is a Saturday if you want it to be, I'm sure you'll have a blast in Brazil, enjoy,

But Sen. McCain isn't the point of this post. It's strictly a "distract from any discussion that isn't a glowing endorsement of Sen. Obama" post, combined with an anti-Republican rant. Sad and pathetic.
Yes, precisely....so if you have nothing "glowing" to say about Obama, say nothing at all...'cuz we don't want to hear it. It's old.
