You mean like...being governor of the largest state in the 48 contiguous states?

Arguing that point is going to be a dead end cause you and I are never going to agree on what his "real" impact on that job was...

But I can understand why you would want to point to the SUBJECTIVE item on his resume, while ignoring the other long OBJECTIVE list of failures.

First, you're linking to a site called "political humor"...and then expect us to scratch our chins in contemplation of it...

Second, it's been debunked years ago...

One small example...The file is filled with them...

Quote:
Changed pollution laws for power and oil companies and made Texas the most polluted state in the Union.

Here are the facts: Texas leads the nation in reduction of toxic releases. Texas has led the nation in the reduction of toxic releases by 43 million pounds from 1995 to 1998 (during GWB™s tenure as governor). It is not the most polluted state in the nation. According to the Environmental Protection Agency's 1998 Toxic Release Inventory (the most recent data available from the EPA, released in May 2000), Texas dropped from first to fifth place in 1998 (while GWB was still governor) for total emissions to the air, water and soil.
The "resume" is right up there will other hoaxes like Bush has the lowest IQ of any president in the last 50 years...

Right about now I expect Ashton Kutcher to show up at your door...Believing that resume has any sense of realism means you just got punk'd...

Like? His unsuccessful bid for congress in the late 70's? There is nothing SUBJECTIVE about the fact that he was the executive officer for the state of Texas for 5 years. That's called quality executive experience. You can capitalize and put undue emphasis on all the different words you want, but all it's doing is making you look like you don't know the meaning of the words you are capitalizing.

Besides, this isn't even about Bush. It's about Obama and his lack of experience and merits. The only reason you are making it about Bush is because you can't defend your boy.

Mediocrity is what politics are all about........the really good folks are making their fortunes honestly, and elsewhere.

This is a prime example of hysterics marching on before rational thought. I just ignored the crap as soon as it was slapped up there with the smugness of someone who was actually making a point. Refusal to acknowledge such fallacious claims is the only way to deal with that level of hysteria.

All you did there was say that he got elected.
That's it.

And if Obama gets elected, you can then say, in four years, that he ALSO has "four years of executive officer experience"...

Asked and answered already.
I am pointing out the hypocrisy of people who jump up and down on a standard that they looked the other way on for their previous "boy".

And it could be potentially construed as offensive to refer to Obama as "boy".

And you're further proving my point by demonstrating you're ignoring my points.
There is no reason to continue this discussion if you're not really interested...
