In response to your comment, not being present for a particular soundbite does not mean that he didn't know what Jeramiah Wright preached at his church. Obama knew about Wright's "style" for a very long time. In fact, when Obama was considering running for POTUS, they both discussed the possibility of Obama some day having to distance himself from the Reverand. Looks like Obama finally decided to make the break, and blame it on the white preacher. Obama had that one planned...don't forget that Obama is a Chicago bred politician.

Listen...this is "old fare"....I went round and round with him on Political Fever...and all he could do was to post smears of Obama, references to Rev. Wright, even before he cinched the nomination...as we have seen, he is leading, nationally, 5 points over McCain....so, actually it has had little effect.
Folks didn't even go after Bush with such vehemence and venom...why? Because he was the "typical white man candidate", and needed no 'vetting"?
Closer to the truth...some folks are closet racists, and some are out in the open.
The depth and breadth of the smears against Obama, have absolutely nothing to do with his qualifications, or the lack thereof....it's because he is a "black man', and this is still a racist, hateful nation.
Like you said...Jeremiah Wright told nothing but the truth...and the guilt made the guilty lose their minds, even more.
