Successful leadership means appointing and accepting good council.Very few presidents totally ignore council and act solely on perception.I do have my concerns with Obama and I have stated this in several posts. He still must convince me that he is a good listener as well as a good speaker before he gets my vote. For the next two weeks I will be taking a very close look at his legislative history. This will be time consuming but before he gets my vote I need to know more about how he processes information and how he arrives at a conclusion before I can make a conclusion.

I've been meaning to get to this thread ever since i saw the title. Finally watched the video today. I still think I will vote for McCain (at this point ), but I didn't hear anything on the video that made me think Obama was off course.
He had some good points. Of course he will be briefed on the real gravity of the situation if and when he takes office as would McCain if he wins.
Neither can give us their outright foreign policy strategy (even if that was wise) till they take that office. Right now all we're hearing is the direction they would like to lead us given the same information all the rest of us have.
I think McCain has a better understanding of what we're up against. But can he carry out his vision? Time will tell

No this horse is very much alive you just seem unwilling to ride it and acutally discuss the issue at hand.
It just makes long tiring posts. And I told you we have been discussing it. But we have gotten to this point.

No more or less than when it is all lumped together especially the longer the post gets.

So why don't we discuss the issue rather than the mechanics of posting. I post on several boards and have done so sine before the internet was even here and the method I use is widely used and this is the first time I have ever heard anyone complain.

These things become so long that there half a page. And the minutia is tiresome. And I'm the guy that told Al to invent the internet. . You make your post anyway you want. I'm sure some will respond to their entirety. I'll pick a line or two.
