Default Obama wins N.C. primary

NBC: Obama wins N.C. primary - Decision '08 - MSNBC.com

Assuming their projection is correct, I am soooooo relieved! They are projecting his win in North Carolina is "decisive."

Indiana is too early to call.

But can Obama win the general election? We know he can win the nomination but if he keeps bleeding Independents and can't get a lock on blue collar voters,he will have his work cut out for him.

America is ready for a change. Just as America was ready for JFK in 1960, so are we now ready for BHO in 08.

America is indeed ready for change but the devil is in the details. I was "ready for change" in 1976 and voted for Carter! He was a good man but had horrible leedership qualities. He simply could not delegate authority and the few times that he did,he dismissed their advice. I'm not as concerned as some are with Obama's lack of experience,he has more experience than Lincoln had. I am more concerned with "who" Obama really is. I can relate to "black rage" and much of it is justified. How much of Rev Wright's anti-white anti-American rhetoric did Obama listen to and how much effect did it have on him?..That is the question and none of us have any way of knowing how much this has affected his opinion. Sure..he has distanced himself from such rhetoric but this does not guarantee that none of that hate became part of his philosophy.Remember..when Obama gets the nomination, the R's will run Wright's clips in loop mode! Yes...a lot of people want change but many people are not sure about Obama. He is bleeding Independents..the elderly and he is not doing well with blue collar voters and Latinos.

Obama will win the nomination but there is sufficient doubt that he can win the general election. I often vote for candidates who have little chance of winning but Obama may be unelectable. A large number of Hillary supporters will not vote for Obama. They will either vote McCain or stay home.

I don't think Obama will make it but I "may" vote for him anyway..time will tell.

Yes, time will tell.

Unless there are some ideologues and racists (and I know there are) whose minds are closed to change, there will be enough time between now and November for Obama to get his message across.

The sooner he's elected the sooner the troop pullout can begin.

...and the sooner the redeployment of US troops to the other hot spots around the globe can begin. Al Qaeda is still in the cross hairs, no matter who is elected.
