I don't get why an outside group observing our elections is such an anurysm-causing, rawdog anal cavity-breaching event for some. If Texas election procedures are fair, and I'm presuming they are of course, then there should be no reason to get upset over the UN conducting observations. Shoot, show them how to do it right lol.

May they die and disappear into the oblivion of feces. If they are somehow dismantled withing a very short span, I can indeedly do say that the UN's only virtue was a very short life, figuratively speaking in the "anals" of history.

Other than that, I hope the UN dies immediately.
I respect that the UN is an effort to bring cooperation among nations. Without it I dare say we would have more little wars breaking out than we do. Especially when Russia broke up. The best thing in former Yugoslavia was the UN.

screw the UN, they have no business in this country observing anything.

the more people accept their intrusion into our business the sooner our liberty and countries sovereignty goes out the window.

GET THE U.S. OUT OF THE ****IN' UN NOW!

The threat of a farce election is so great that lawyers for the ACLU, NAACP and other advocates have asked UN observers to come to the beacon of democracy, the United States, and monitor our elections.

This is in response to a Houston-based group called True The Vote that trains thousands of volunteers in a pledge to stop "voter fraud," largely through aggressive intimidation tactics. True The Vote's strategy is basically to give copies of voter rolls to poll-watchers, and encourage them to relentlessly question election officials when someone comes into a polling location whom they don't think should be there.

While partisan groups like True The Vote are crying "voter fraud" as their excuse to make it harder for students, seniors, people of color, poor people and other traditionally left-leaning constituencies to go vote, the only acts of voter fraud that actually occur are being committed by the far-right.

The UN isn't intruding, they're not telling anyone what to do in our elections and it's stayed that way since 2002. Quit your five-alarm bellyaching.

Meanwhile, the state of Pennsylvania has refused to take down billboards in Spanish telling people they need to present ID to vote even though a judge recently scrapped that requirement. There are also misleading ads on buses. Meanwhile, the state GOP-controlled government also said it won’t send out mailers informing people they no longer need an ID to vote.

Voters in at least 28 counties in Florida have received bogus official-looking letters saying they may be ineligible to vote. The fake letters were sent under the names of real Florida election supervisors and stated that “information” had been discovered about their citizenship status that made them “doubt your eligibility as a registered voter.” The FBI and U.S. Postal Service are investigating.

Last year, the former campaign manager for former Republican Maryland Gov. Robert Ehrlich was convicted of orchestrating over 100,000 Election Day robocalls in 2010 telling black voters that they could “relax” at home because Democrats had already won (polls hadn’t even closed yet). Voting rights advocates say they haven’t seen these yet, but expect to as we get closer to Election Day.

Oh and BTW those above dont even count all the crap that went on with ACORN and frankly I could go on and on here, but I've made my point.

So dont get sanctimonious with us here about trying to guarantee fair elections, because if that was what you were really worried about you'd be concerned about your own party.

The GOP IS concerned with voter fraud. But the GOP and everyone else (including you) knows is those UN poll watchers couldnt give a rat's ass about Democrat Fraud, because just like you they are liberals and so being liberals they are myopic when it comes to liberal voter fraud. And you know it even if you wont admit it.

The 1st is OKeef so I categorically tossed it as fraudulent reporting
then we have election fraud not voter fraud.
there were a couple of repeat stories.
election fraud cannot be corrected by id laws. especially in these absentee. I am skeptical of the whole list, but it proves the left's point if you think there is fraud or attempted fraud. Then you should welcome the UN.

Texas is one of those states where the majority is against the UN monkeys, and all semblances thereof, including our kowtowers here for them. The UN and its cheerleaders may wish to keep silent about their relevance in our sovereignty. They have zero of it.

A note to the UN monkeys, from Manitou--

I care about voter fraud in a non-partisan manner. The people who are complaining about UN observers happen to be GOP.

Draw your own conclusions.
