Let's say 1000 people donated...

300 people donated an average of $50 for Obama while 700 people donated an average of $20 for Romney...

That means Obama beat Romney $1500 to $1400 in CONTRIBUTIONS, but Romney would STILL have more support by a greater-than-2-to-1 margin...

The report shows the total, but it doesn't give the VOLUME...
There you go talking math again.

Quit arguing and just tell Xcali the entire armed forces are comprised of all terrific Democrats who think Obama is the bee's knees.

True.. But..

We're talking about the President who issued the order that killed the reason we are at War, the President who ended the War in Iraq and brought many of our troops home , and the guy on the opposing side has absolutely zero credibility with the military because if you dig into his past you find that he was a draft dodging coward . Who do you REALLY think the Military will support?... I know.. Obama.

Not saying anything to denigrate your husband's job, but he is NOT active duty military, so deal with it, eh? He is not in my chain of command, never was, never would be.

I have a question

If most of the pay increases, increases in VA funding, Increases in benifits have happened under dems. If the last two screwed up wars were started by republicans. If stop loss was overused by the last republican administration. What the hell is it about the right that would garner them more support from troops?

Golly! Who started the Vietnam War? May I suggest you go and ask each member personally why he chooses just about anybody over Obama?

Yeah but most of those who served in Nam were Democrats. Just trying to figure what the right brings to the game that makes them so appealing to the military. Especially over the past 20 years.

Today's Democrats do not have the same charisma as the JFK type, I guess.

Armed Forces Show Overwhelming Support for Obama

....
I do find that surprising, and as you point out it doesn't necessarily equate to the ultimate support in votes the candidates will get, just like when some corporation that employs mostly Democrats contributes much much more to a Republican.

But it's still surprising!

You really should try to reign in your stupid generalizations about Government workers - or just file your offensive opinions and generalities about them somewhere up your colon.

On the other hand, feel free to bitch about specific instances of lazy Guv'mint workers that you have first or even second hand knowledge about! I'll even join in with stories of my own!

But you did denigrate my job. "Servicemen tolerate"? Tell that to the thousands of descendants of the thousands of soldiers that would have died had a mainland invasion of Japan been necessary. Tell that to the submariners that depend on the latest advances in sonar technology and stealth technology to keep them alive. On a personal note, tell that to the users of the TOW systems that were able to use a much improved reticle in their optical sights to track low contrast targets. On another personal note, tell that to the soldiers in Afghanistan that depend on elevated sensor systems for situational awareness. On another personal note, tell that to the soldiers that are better able to locate IEDs using the latest detection technology. Not that I did any of that single-handedly, but I did the best I could to contribute to those things.

None of which is to say that I would ever put myself even equal to, much much less above, the soldiers that risk their lives every day so that you can spout your offensive stupidity on a message board.

Some people need to take a chill pill. I served in the Navy. There is nothing worse than a civilian working with Servicemen, when the civilian thinks he is part of the chain of command. Needless to say, I was not so nice with those who assumed they had authority over me. Each one found out quickly he was not in my chain. Civilians need to understand that. Other than that, may every civilian working with the Armed Forces continue to develop better things, and to learn to stay the f*** out of the way of active duty personnel. Thanks, by the way.

I hope this doesn't turn into one of those Obama "you didn't do that on your own" kind of games. That will turn quickly boring.
