Let me think....about this time a few weeks ago the right was arguing how the polls are all skewed and bias'd....or, irrelevant.....

They are skewed, biased and irrelevant. But no one wants to hear that. It's one of those uncomfortable truths that when they are revealed leave people feeling like they've been betrayed. Since people don't like feeling that, they'll continue to believe that they're being told the truth and that the people paying for these polls don't think that they're dumber than a box of racks for believing them.

I love it when you right wing extremists rest all your hopes and dreams on one poll . Obama is still leading where it counts.. in Ohio, and Iowa.. and his lead will grow now that he has had a solid debate performance.

For the President, it's not enough for him to have a solid debate, he would have to crush Romney and that's FAR from what he did. As President, he is expected to be the big dog in the fight, so when his opponent is just barely beaten, it's a net loss for him. It's kind of like failing to beat the spread. Pres. Obama came in at +3, but won the debate +1. So while he won the debate, he did not come out ahead. Gov. Romney got a national audience to listen to his ideas be put forth and show who he is and he did that very well and that's equates to a big plus for him (tip o' the hat to 'redd). Pres. Obama did nothing of the sort. No new ideas, no new perspective on the kind of person he is. Pres. Obama basically tread water and did it well enough to come out ahead. But Romney got his ideas in front of the American people and showed them who he is and what his ideas are and that's a major plus for him. Overall, I do think that Pres. Obama won the debate, but it was Romney who came out with a greater advantage in the campaign. To put it simply, Pres. Obama won the battle, but Romney advanced in winning the war.
