I'm speaking from a business owner's standpoint. If I ran a pizza place or any place for that matter that deals with the public, I wouldn't think it wise to flip out the blue or red flag in the kind of contentious climate we've been having politically.
I knew a guy who had a big "Donate to Wallace" bucket on the counter and even Blacks frequented his restaurant (for take-out ) but I probably wouldn't be so lucky.
Best leave love and politics off the shirt sleeve if you wanna push your pepperoni.

Just fyi: On the Huckabee report this morning, Huckabee said it wasn't a campaign stop as much as a recognition of charitable giving or participation by the restaurant. Something about childrens charities.
Huck called for people to calm down unless their "reflection in the mirror calls for them to boycott pizza".

This pizza shop owner simply said that he was voting for Obama, showed enthusiasm for Obama, and said he thought Obama had a better physique than Ryan.

There are a variety of businesses that donate to "man+woman only marriage". We could make a list.
THEY DO NOT make the news with people trying to boycott them because they do not donate to hate groups.
Chick-fil-a did.

If anything, "ignorance" comes from people who want to blindly pretend it was just about marriage equality.
