Yes everyone who is running. @$#*&% I get each sides e-mails and I just send them to the spam for quick deletion & the hope all the other will follow the first few.

I search out each candidate using several sources where their BS isn't shown and only their positions are given.

Project Vote Smart - The Voter's Self Defense System

RealClearPolitics - Latest Polls

And the other one isn't coming up right now. Which is for local elections.

Anyone else have any links to share?

Not exactly local, but here are some possible future political stars who are not what you would call nationally known or extremely popular yet:

Republicans

- Kristi Noem
- Tim Scott
- Raul Labrador
- Martha Roby
- Adam Kinzinger

Democrats

- Martin O'Malley
- Kamala Harris
- Stacey Abrams
- Brian Schweitzer
- Reuven Carlyle

Oh, keep an eye on Democratic Texas Senator Wendy Davis. She could certainly be a force one day and is extremely popular in the Lone Star State.

It mostly is... *shrug*

That being said, I think there is one more Democrat you need to add to your list of up-comers from Texas. That is Houston Mayor Annise Parker. She has a good pedigree to potentially be a game changer for gay Democrats in Texas and across the country. She's fairly conservative fiscally speaking, being the former Controller for the City of Houston. I also understand that she has struck a balance between being a gay politician and the expectations that comes with (dignified pride, role-model type authority) without being "too gay" for the city. Maybe some of our Houston residents could speak to that.

Out of New Mexico, look for Hector Baldares to become something more. He's the state auditor, and really has potential to do a lot more. Republicans are a bit harder to read here. They tend to be silent runners and fade in and out quickly.

This is all that goes to me dabateman, the rest is for Comet as he brought both side up with his lists. But I will keep an eye open...

Why the shrug you guys can't have all of the candy and eat it to ing

Besides what a mess if there was center or right to battle with, think about it? Then politics would not be worth it, right?
