"Religion," is not a dirty word. A belief that there is a meaningful framework to existence, which "right' and "wrong," by their nature must presuppose, that is essentially a religious belief. At its most basic, it is simply the recognition that there are ways we acquire knowing that are valid, but not based in our concept of pure reason.

Even the belief that the physical world must obey natural laws comes very close to religion.

It is a term with a very wide spectrum of meaning.

No, it really doesn't have a wide spectrum of meaning. It's pretty narrow, actually. And no, there need be no "meaningful framework" in order for "right and wrong" to exist. And no, "natural laws" aren't religion either.

You are free to have these opinions of course, but to continually profess them as an objective truth is just blatantly incorrect.
