Mayhem At Fox News: Anchor Walks Off Set, Wallace Rails Network For "Obama-Bashing"

Quote:
Fox News' very own anchors are speaking out — and walking off — over what they perceive to be "Obama-bashing" on their network.

This morning on "Fox and Friends," Brian Kilmeade walked off the set after a dispute with his co-hosts Gretchen Carlson ........ and Steve Doocy over Obama's comment that his grandmother is a "typical white person." Kilmeade argued that the remark needed to be taken in context and eventually got so fed up with his co-hosts that he walked off set.

Later, "Fox News Sunday" host Chris Wallace came on the show and railed against "Fox and Friends" for what he called "Obama-bashing."

Ooh, Toppy, there's trouble in camp!

I don't get to watch much news, but caught some of Fox news today. Boy are they sensationalists or what?! I guess all the news is that way now on TV with other news sources to compete with.

Idealogically Promiscuous & I we're taling about this story yesterday in the Shoutbox...

Here's the conversation (read from the bottom up)...

Quote:
Idealogically Promiscuous - exactly

cnredd - I know hotair is conservative...AND agreed with Wallace...I wish the left would tell their brethren to knock it off everyonce in a while, too...

Idealogically Promiscuous -I actually was wondering that same thing but with MSNBC

Idealogically Promiscuous - LOL

cnredd - I wonder if CNN will do 2 hours on Wallace's clip...

cnredd - That 2 minute clip focused more on Wallace getting technical about Obama;s quote...What he should've focused in more on is that WHATEVER Obama said, it surely wasn't worth 2 hours of it...

Idealogically Promiscuous - kk

cnredd - Wallace is right...but he could've even been MORE right...Hold on for that reasoning...

Idealogically Promiscuous - and yeah, I think Wallace might have had some "producer" angst that came out at the cast

Idealogically Promiscuous - sucks though...they didn't get the part where he was going on about how the media is making the race issue out of this and gave a list of important speeches Obama has given in the last two days

Idealogically Promiscuous - Hot Air

cnredd - Shouldn't he be more mad at the producers?...I'd imagine they're the ones pulling the strings...

Idealogically Promiscuous - I was like: can he do that without getting fired?

Idealogically Promiscuous - My jaw just dropped though

Idealogically Promiscuous - well, he did have a point about the way they were carrying on

cnredd - Ha!...Niiiice....Love it when reporters attack their own.

Idealogically Promiscuous - and that they were distorting what he said about his "white grandmother"

Idealogically Promiscuous - Told 'em that "two hours of Obama bashing" that had been going on since 6:00AM was quite enough

Idealogically Promiscuous - he kinda told the cast of Fox and Friends off

cnredd - Nope...what happened?...

Idealogically Promiscuous - So uh....did anyone see Chris Wallace on Fox and Friends this morning?

But they are "bred" that way.

I fell asleep with it all written out. I knew someone might have posted it by the time I got to push the submit button, but figured it would be SP and he would merge them if that was the case.
