Default Momentum in Iowa tilting toward Mitt Romney

DES MOINES - Iowa voters may be on the verge of delivering a caucus plot twist Tuesday that seemed unlikely just a few short weeks ago: propelling Mitt Romney toward the Republican presidential nomination.
no say it ain't so

in recent days, after a year of spectacular surges and flameouts by his rivals, the former Massachusetts governor is capitalizing on a tantalizing opportunity. He is attracting bigger and more enthusiastic crowds to his Iowa rallies. The most recent polls show he now has a strong chance of winning.

A Des Moines Register poll, a crucial final indicator of voter preference, said Romney was leading, with 24 percent of likely voters. US Representative Ron Paul of Texas was second with 22 percent. The newspaper pollís results released last night were consistent with earlier polls by CNN/Time and NBC, which ranked Romney as a slight favorite over Paul, although the margins were statistically insignificant.

who did not know this would be the case?
And is it a real statistic? Or something to stir the pot?

Iowa will end up voting for the most evangelical candidate in the end, my prediction is that Wednesday morning they will be announcing Rick Santorum as the winner of the Iowa caucuses.. Romney second and Ron Paul third... then Romney will win New Hampshire and end up with the nomination. Iowa picked Huckabee in 2008 , and we all know how that ended up.

Romney still sitting at around 25 %.. the same percentage of the vote he got in 2008... Ron Paul still close but like Romney has topped out his support... Santorum going into the last day is surging , much like Huckabee did in 2008... When He won Iowa....

It could go either way.. hell they could even surprise everyone and vote for Bachmann , but I'm sticking to Santorum for 1st... which will put a little more pressure on Romney in New Hampshire. Romney may win a few states but I'd be surprised if he wins anything in the South... And that could be great for Obama because Romney is the only chance the Republicans have of winning in the General election......

Go Santorum......
