Default Judgement Day

March 4th will determine whether Clinton will go forward or not

FOX NEWS

When the dust settles after next Tuesday’s election battle in Texas and Ohio, Hillary Clinton will know “whether to go forward or not” in the quest for the White House, in the opinion of one of her top campaign strategists.

Harold Ickes made the remark in an interview with political print journalists Monday as Clinton’s campaign faces the daunting task of reversing the trend of Democratic rival Barack Obama, who has now won 11 straight primary contests.

After making the argument that media are showing favoritism toward Obama, Ickes made a rare acknowledgment from within the Clinton campaign: her odds are shrinking.

“I think if we lose in Texas and Ohio, Mrs. Clinton will have to make her decisions as to whether she goes forward or not,” Ickes said, adding the slight caveat “as she has at the end of every other state,” according to the Christian Science Monitor.

It will be interesting to see how Hillary performs under pressure.

I have a feeling it may not be settled then...

Hillary is nowhere close to the position Hiuckabee's in...and if the March 4th primaries do not result in a resounding win for Obama, Hillary will say the door is still open and continue...

And she would be right to do so. I think she has done well so far given the hate for her. And she will do whats right when and if she falls too far behind. I don't think she is as desperate as people think. I think she wants to be POTUS to help the country. I don't see her as being simply power mad. She will go back to the senate. And probably have a long career. I just hope people know what their getting with barack. Because I haven't figured out what his goals are for America. And I doubt if many people can explain it.

A little off topic, but not by much...
Do you think you would stay home, vote Republican or leave the top of the ticket blank if Obama wins?
Just curious.

I'll vote Obama. I already voted for him before. He was my Senator up until about a couple of weeks ago. Hell I still have the election posters. I'm not down on Obama. I'm just wanting people to pay attention to issues and they seem to be caught up in personality. Obamas.

I don't think that "all" Obama supporters are unthinking rock star fans. Some of them are thinkers, they think he can beat McCain. When you don't get the candidate that you really wanted, you look at the "other" options. This is true of Rudy and Mitt supporters. They are not "crazy" about McCain but they will support him in hopes of holding the White House.

It's also unfair for people to say Obama does not stand for anything and has no substance. I found this to be totally inacurate, you have to do the homework, visit his site and spend some time there! Unfortunatly,I do not agree with "all" the positions he does take.I do support him in some areas, health care and an end to paid lobbyists.Obama is also attacked for not having enough experience,he has more experience than Abe Lincoln had.

I'm sure I can add a few more former Presidents to the so called, inexperienced list. What I find most amusing is that Obama's strongest critics would never vote for him no matter how much experience he had or what positions he took. For many..Obama simply belongs to the wrong party.
