Thumbs down Perry is toast.

I'm not only talking about his presidential aspirations, but also his level of intelligence.

What in the hell were the folks in Texas thinking, when they elected this dolt?

The only politician that I've seen that might give Perry a run for his money in the lack of intelligence department......is Palin.

Only problem is, Perry doesn't even have breasts.

I know you Perry backers were cringing.... if you watched the debate.

How could you not be?

Yeah, I'm a little surprised at how poorly he played, on a national level, almost right from the beginning.
He plays well in Texas. And I'll tell you a secret, as long as you don't tell my family: I don't absolutely hate him. For a Republican, I think he's got a good heart. If there's one thing I'd change, I wish he'd stop being so pro-death penalty. But other than that, he's not a terrible governor.

Actually, I find it a tragedy and failure of our political process that someone's election success or failure rises and falls over a brain-fart in the middle of a debate.

I wouldn't count him out yet. Debates are treated by the media as if they carry waaaay more weight than they do. There's already a groundswell going on of people who found a politician being human to be identifiable and even understandable.

That would be great if he gets the nomination.
