Then I would say your blogger has even less understanding of what Che Gueverra means to latinos. It sure ain't terrorism and random bombing.

And I'm sure Osama supporters feel that way about Bin Laden, too...

That doesn't take away from fact...Che was an enemy to the United States, and supporting him is disgusting enough, let alone being done in a United States campaign headquarters...

Add that to the fact that the campaign itself, which admits knowing of it, did not denounce it by any means shows tacit approval...

Meh, whatever. I see Che flags all the time around here. They actually mean very little beyond the mystique of a David and Goliath type hero. I have yet to see an Osama Bin Laden flag and besides, I don't think the two are comparable at all. In fact, it is intellectually dishonest to even try to compare them. Further, I am not inclined to look at a right wing blogger's analysis of a hyped non-news story with anything more than a "hmm, thats a bit self serving and dishonest".

Again, why would Obama denounce a citizen's free expression?

So "volume" makes it more legitimate?...

YOU may not find it comparable...I'd like to hear from the families of the victims of Che and get their opinion...

I truly didn't expect this from you...From others, yes...but definitely not you...

This is NOT a "freedom" discussion...

You could not have me arrested or in any way shut me down because I want to run up down the block with a big "I hate spics!" sign...

But you COULD (and should, in this case) condemn me publicly for my actions...ESPECIALLY if I'm wearing a "Idealogically Promiscuous in "08" shirt and has publicly stated that I'm volunteering in your campaign...

Which is what Obama is NOT doing...

Yes, volume and perception. He is a populist hero to a lot of latinos. Rightly so, if you ask my opinion. He was a little person who led a big charge.

We never declared Che an enemy of the US. He was simply an enemy of some of the governments we supported. So no, its not even distantly comparable.

I'm just saying that its not as huge as people are making it. Publicly condemning one of his volunteers for showing respect or admiration for an ethnic hero. I'm sorry, I just don't see how that equates to your example of "I hate spics".

Move along people, nothing to see here.
Goddamn! Are you actually defending this example of political illiteracy???

Only a screwball motherfuckin political relativist would do that.

Ignorance and bigotry only shows a lack of taste.
