Default Fake Democrats lose in Wis. primary recalls

This should be fun to watch.

Poke Here

Quote:
MADISON, Wis. (AP) — All six fake Democrats lost to Democrats supported by the party in primaries Tuesday that are the first in a series of recall elections targeting nine Wisconsin state senators for their positions on Republican Gov. Scott Walker's divisive union rights restrictions.

The winners advance to take on incumbent Republicans targeted for recall on Aug. 9.

The state Republican Party orchestrated the placement of the fake Democrats on Tuesday's ballot, thereby delaying the general election for a month. That gave the Republican incumbents more time to campaign and distance themselves from the turmoil over the union law that they voted to support in March, spurring the recall efforts.

Five of the six winners had at least 65 percent of the vote, based on unofficial results. The sixth, Shelly Moore, had 54 percent.

would you mind pointing out the part that proves beyond a shadow of a doubt that republicans placed fake democrats on the ballot?

The last election we had here in Michigan the democrats tried to put up fake tea party candidates and they are now facing legal challenges.

The article doesn't say that there is proof that they were fake candidates, they just assume they were fake.

I would suspect that if republicans did do this there would have been some sort of investigation.

Are you serious?

You really think that it didn't happen?

To answer your very dumb question, read the entire article.

This particular part should put to rest your apparent denial.

Moore defeated Issac Weix, a Republican on the ballot as a Democrat who had previously run twice before and lost as a GOP candidate for the state Assembly. The St. Croix County Republican Party sent emails and paid for phone calls on behalf of Weix, urging Republicans to support him in the Democratic primary.

Personally, I don't have a problem with it.

I think closed primaries are bull**** anyway.

I think any candidate should be able to run........... and let the voters determine who they want.

I guess they did do it......

Wisconsin GOP leaders encouraging colleagues to place fake Democrats on recall ballots - JSOnline

Quote:
The season of dirty political tricks is now officially under way.

In letters obtained by No Quarter, local Republican Party officials are encouraging their GOP colleagues to collect enough signatures to get a fake Democratic candidate on the ballot in each of two upcoming recall elections.

The spoiler Democrats, who are identified by name in the letters, would run in the Democratic primaries for the seats now held by Republican Sens. Randy Hopper of Fond du Lac and Luther Olsen of Ripon.

Both of the fake Democrats have a history of giving almost exclusively to major Republicans.

"We need to make sure Democrat challengers face primaries to allow our Republicans time to mount a campaign," Dan Feyen, chairman of the 6th Congressional District Republican Party, wrote in the letter to "fellow conservatives" on Friday.

"A Democratic primary," Feyen continued, "will push the general election back by one month, so that Senator Hopper can have more time to organize a campaign against his liberal challenger."
There is only one thing to say about this.....****ing morons!

What laws did they break?

Is it a closed primary?

Oh c'mon, please.

Why?

In the article.......
Quote:
Republicans can vote in the Democratic races because Wisconsin has an open primary, raising the possibility of further mischief in the elections.

Although I find it a little sneaky, the Republicans here had NO INTENTION to fool the electorate as was done with fake Tea Party candidates in elections past...

This was meant to delay the general election...NOT to split votes IN a general election...Huge difference...

So after being unable to even comprehend a simple article and made to look foolish..........you've now turned into someone who can read minds?

I don't think so.

I don't have a problem with it either and for the same reason: closed primaries are dumb.
