Not angry, just able to call a spade a spade without fear.

Your assessment is wrong.

Your opinion, and to me it means little.

The gay-straight alliance is not political. It's about fighting anti-gay bullying.

BS!

And people who think that is "political" are disturbing...

Again, your opinion.

And trying to label "pro-life" as "religious" is a menial effort to try to pretend anti-religious persecution when it isn't there. There may be religious motivation for some in the pro-life movement, but the underlying "pro-life" message is political. NOT religious.

Accepted, however pro-life groups in schools, especially public schools are banned on religious grounds. Just because some left wing nut says oytherwise doesn't make it fact.

It's an attempt to influence the policies of this nation to enforce a "pro-life" requirement.

Oh, gee, you mean the way gay groups have influenced policies in this nation? Heaven forbid them damn prolifers do that.

If pro-lifers WERE to treat it as a religious ideal, that would be an improvement.

Many do.

Typically with religion you have people happy to allow others to have and practice different religious ideals.

In fact, you really do not want people to start thinking as the pro-life / pro-choice issue as "religion".

How is being pro choice religious in any way?

That would mean RELIGIOUS PROTECTIONS FOR BOTH SIDES, and therefore the pro-choice side would get first amendment protections against pro-life over-reach.

Seems to me the pro choice side gets first amendment protection all the time, it is the pro-lifers who get short shift when it comes to speech.

Is that what you really want????

Doesn't matter what I want, the school is wrong, plain and simple, and all your left wing nut opinion is not going to change that.

Your words clearly demonstrate anger.

It's interesting to see how some people are reduced to just proclaiming something is wrong without being capable of demonstrating an intelligent response other than insisting on their opinion.

Gay-Straight Alliances are about fighting anti-gay bullying.
I've already documented this.

SHOW ME ANY OBJECTIVE FACTS which documents this was banned because of "religious grounds".
You have nothing.

At best, you are pulling the same crap as Al Sharpton when he screams that something happened because somebody was black. NO PROOF of the claim, but you'll yell it from the roof-tops anyways because you see yourself as a victim.

Don't get confused.
The fact that NON-SCHOOL, POLITICAL GROUPS influence government is NOT THE ISSUE.

The question is Do political and controversial groups have a legitimate place in schools?

As I pointed out earlier, right-wingers often scream and yell about how we need to get back to the three-R's. Whine that too many distractions exist in our schools so kids don't learn the curriculum.
And here we are on a thread where right-wingers are demanding a club which has absolutely nothing to do with school curriculum be included.

I often wonder about people who are so vehemently anti gay. Covering something maybe?

I often wonder about people who are so vehemently pro-Muslim, who are themselves anti-homo also. Covering something maybe?
