The Department of Education does not know crap about teaching. Pay attention to how a statement is posted. The remains of your post are comical.

I would ask you to explain what you think you mean by that, but ...
1) I don't think you're that self-aware other than to spout out angrily talking points, and
2) DoE has nothing whatsoever to do with this thread.

This thread is about Kansas schools having to close early due to lack of funds.
The reason for the lack of funds is due to Republican policies which cut taxes heavily which slashed revenue, leaving a huge deficit.
Instead of right-wingers recognizing what actually happened, some make up stories to try to obfuscate the point and others just obliviously try to outright change the point.

Let me make it easier for you to understand then. I think more states need more tax cuts and all the public servants are getting paid too much damned money for 98 percent sitting on their asses.

Gotta love the right-wing class-warfare...

If the right wants to campaign under lowering teachers' salaries, then they should have the cajones to do so. Not this cowardly and craven b.s. where they idiotically claim tax cuts will help the revenue, and then when it doesn't they cut school funding.

It's interesting to note the right-wing's hypocrisy when it comes to teachers.
A company CEO grows his salary by leaps and bounds. Gives himself bonuses when the public is bailing out his company. The right insists we shouldn't criticize his salary.
A teacher on the other hand is obviously fair game. Automatically assumed to be making too much and they are assumed to be the root of all the school's budgeting ills.

Back in the real world, their salaries overall have fluctuated some but compared to most workers they are not growing as much. Considering inflation, teachers overall are not doing that well...

1996 => 2012: Only 2.9% growth which is NOT keeping up with inflation.

But you keep repeating right-wing talking points if you think it helps you.
Maybe someday you'll learn how to think for yourself. Maybe that IS an area where teachers failed (you).

From whose liberal ass did you pull that out of? I don't want any damned entity, private or public, bailed out with taxpayers' money. Maybe the leftist, commie, socialist, bleeding heart pinko weenies do. You know, the Obama sock puppets of America?

Read and comprehend.
I didn't say conservatives wanted the bailout.

I am saying conservatives balked when people complained about those companies' CEOs taking bonuses when they would have been bankrupt without the bailout. Even when it was government money, the right balked and insisted that people shouldn't care about the CEO salary.
But teachers making much less? THOSE are the people you wage class warfare on.

So did the Right Wing want the bail out?

CEOs getting handouts from taxpayers are overpaid welfare bums.

Teachers working under the thumb of the Department of Education are also overpaid, so let's not go back and forth.

I don't know what class warfare has to do with all these government entities being overpaid.
