He is precisely right.

As former Lady Vols' basketball coach Pat Summitt once put it: The correct term for the defense she used is "man-to man"--not "woman-to-woman."

Perhaps, after we enshrine the freshly minted word, "freshperson," in our collective lexicon, we can go on to include such terms as "presonhole" cover, "personhunt" for a fugitive, and "personhandle" an innocent person...
