We have many proposals on our ballot this election year, many of them having to do with putting union contract into the state constitution so as to make it impossible for cities, town, villages, and even the state to do anything about union extortion of taxpayer money.

Protection of a person who violates standard employment policies is just one of the many reasons Unions do not work towards the benefit of the citizens.

If someone were to come into one of our stores either drunk or under the influence of drugs (legal or not) they would lose their job. And we just sell sandwiches.

Imagine the influence these people have on the children....

I see the "hate unions" hook is set pretty deep in the rights mouth and big business is reeling them in. Not that I agree with everything a particular union might pull from time to time. This was a mediocre country before the unions and the industrial revolution and even into the World Wars. We hit our Zenith when unions were at full strength. There is always a balance to be found but blamming unions for all the ills all the time is screwed up.
