If you're putting oil people in a position to influence oil policy, there is a potential for conflict of interest.

You are assuming "the Chicago Machine bunch" is corrupt as a group, and associating any Chicago politician with the group without any show of guilt...
Here, you are claiming they are a "fox" with no evidence of guilt...
