Default Disappointing Economy on the Horizon

https://www.msn.com/en-us/money/mark...n10?ocid=ientp

They think this is disappointing, just wait till next year.

Rising gas prices, rising unemployment, rising taxes, and rising inflation, will be the new normal. If the left gets it's way, most of the country will need Uncle Joe, just to put food on the table.

It's all according to their well thought out, preconceived plan.

Haha repubs were counting on this to make a real bad mark on Biden and blame him for inflation and all sorta economic failure so he was ready with a jobs plan proposal hahaha

Data taken in recent weeks suggests the closures of day-care centers and schools have forced millions of Americans to stay home and care for children or oversee online learning.

According to a Census Household Pulse survey taken in late March, 6.3 million people reported that they were not working because they needed to care for a child not in a school or day care. Another 2.1 million were caring for an older person.

An additional 4.1 million Americans said they were not working because of concerns about getting or spreading Covid.

The official answer to why that many are unemployed and why positions aren't being filled?
Shortage of laborers in the market and jobs that still aren't there. Closed because of covid and either out of business or still not able to open

Weak jobs report shows the need for massive jobs and families bills, Biden says

False...

It's due to FORMER laborers NOT wanting to get off their a$$ because the free money keeps rolling in...

Employees with unemployment benefits not returning to work

Businesses across the country are still feeling the negative impacts of COVID-19. Many now face the struggle of employees not willing to come back to work, because of the extra boost in unemployment benefits.

Many workers are getting money thanks to the COVID-19 Relief Bill President Joe Biden signed earlier this year.

One Columbus man agreed to talk to News Leader 9 about it, but did not want to be identified. He says he doesn’t want to go back to work, because he’s making more money sitting at home than he would be at work punching a clock.

“What reason would I go back to work. I mean I’m getting if not more than the amount of money that I would make at one week at work versus the two week biweekly period,” He said. “I don’t really have to worry about stress. And you can still take care of your business and move forward and actually profit and do what you got to do.”

The COVID-19 Relief Bill enhances unemployment benefits for millions of Americans, who’ve lost their jobs due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The benefits will continue until September 6 of this year.

unemployment compensation is a portion of what the person actually made (now plus $300.) That is less than they can make even in Idaho, so no, not an incentive to stay home.

Yes it is and Democrats are admitting it.

There is always economic failure when the left takes over. The things they do causes prices to go up. Oil & Gas is just one example. High taxes on the rich people that employ workers, causes main stream middle class items to go up.

When the rich are taxed more, and regulated to death, EVERYBODY PAYS!

Biden doesn't have a jobs plan, he has vague promises of green energy employment at some undefined future time. About what would be expected from a lifelong isolated politician who has never had a serious private sector job.

A friend of mine and her husband have a freight business where they go and pick up loads
and deliver them to whoever. They get the business through a Broker.

They went to pick up a load, I believe it was in Idaho, from a Steel Plant, what they picked up was cold rolled steel.

The guys at the plant told them 1 ton of cold rolled steel has gone up from

$400.00 per ton
to $1400.00 per ton

Do the math for that baby, it is 3-1/2 times more.

If you left winger's don't think Biden is ruining this country's economy you belong to the senile old man's cult. Be proud

People buying steel have placed orders for two years in advance.

We buy commercial Steel Doors and Frames and the prices have skyrocketed, I've never seen anything remotely like this in my 41 years in this business. YES, in forty-one years, this is unprecedented.

Yep, lumber is up, steel is up, gas is up, food is up. Plenty of supply though. Scrap steel prices suck.
