Bank of America commits $5B to affordable homeownership initiative

Quote:
Bank of America issued a $500 million social bond in January to support affordable housing and community development initiatives in low- to moderate-income communities.
That happened in April

Recently the bank and others were due to meet in Baltimore

God does work in mysterious ways. A much larger gathering and interest in a projects smack dab in the middle of adversity caused by potus, gave a more determined glint to all to work together despite his 3 a m bathroom rants. And to spite his son in law's rat infested rentals.

Apparently, you are oblivious to the benefactors of the 'affordable housing'. I'll give you a hint... they were right in the middle of the last housing bubble...

Listen, read, learn. History repeats itself because people don't listen the first time.

Ummm Baltimore received 1.8 billion of Obama's 2009 stimulus.
Now where did that go?

How many Baltimore residents have benefited from this mortgage subsidy program ? The article doesn't say. Who wants to buy a home in a rat and crime infested Baltimore where 2 of the last 3 mayors, all Democrats, have been forced to resign amid charges of corruption?

Baltimore is in the heart of 13 term Congressman Elijah Cummings district his ethnic identity shields him from responsibility for the crime, poverty and decay.

As usual, I'm not going to watch a 25 minute speech to learn something I already now. My first reaction? How did a 500 million commitment in January turn into 5 billion in April?

Add to that your something about Trump rant, I'll pass.

$500M was a 'Social Bond', I guess their way of promising they would invest in this program, with promises of more.... over 5 years.

As I mentioned before, they stand to profit immensely on 'up and coming business', which by another definition, is the exact same thing called 'a sub prime mortgage'.

Shall we run the video tape?
