Partisan opinion pieces from the Chicago Tribune and Vanity Fair. No thanks. I'll stick to facts.

- The jobless rate dipped to an 18-year low of 3.8 percent.

- Employers added 223,000 jobs, way up from the expected 188,000.

- Black and Hispanic unemployment, declining figures Trump regularly touts, plummeted to record lows. Average hourly pay rose 2.7 percent from a year earlier.

Good, since the Democrats and their media toadies shrieked that the numbers under Obama were valid it would be a instance of consistency to evaluate Trump on the same statistics. ;) Oh wait that would mean Trump has outperformed Obama so the numbers must be false. :eek

Obama's strategies brought unemployment down from 7.3% in 2008 to 4.7% before he left office in 2016

Similarly the GDP was -0.3% in 2008 and +1.5% in 2016

The economic policies he and his team implemented are still in effect and hopefully before the bad policies of Donald Trump take affect he [Trump] will retire or be booted out. fingers crossed. prayers for that. and yes karma. :)

Damn, you're either psychic or know the libs on this forum all too well. Salty is all over your prediction like stink on sh*t.

Libs crack me up. When the economy sucked balls during Obama's term they blamed Bush. When the economy flourishes under Trump they give Obama credit.

It would be a much better consistency than what some on the right tried to pull, including the current president.

Not really, no. Good numbers, but not better than Obama's.

Trump's first-year jobs record was strong. Just not as strong as Obama's last year

Oh and the last few years before that were also stronger than Trump's first.

Obama's first year average is 88K. But wait, blame Bush . Let's cherry pick averages then claim Obama is superior. :rolls With Obama worshippers there is always an excuse blaming someone else for his failures. :eek
The cult of Obama worship is consistent as in consistently delusional.

Lowest unemployment rate for 18 years.
Lowest unemployment rate for blacks/african-americans/negros/colored EVER since the US government has been keeping that statistic.
