Funny how Yall stooped claiming the unemployment numbers were fake once your guy was in charge tho.
I don't know what "several years" means but, the stock market recovered from the crash rather quickly under Obama. No one claims different. However, I don't believe Wall Street booming is part of the GDP.

Production of Goods and services are the activities that create American employment and subsequently middle class health and opportunities for the up and coming poor. That did not happen under Obama. Plain and simply the wages were stagnant during Obama's time. In fact, household incomes went down a bit.

Basically what you are applauding is the rich getting richer and the poor poorer is one of Obama's accomplishments.

People should stop thinking two dimensionally. Cherry picking one or two indicators out of context proves very little more than you read the same political chain mails every morning.

And what would that average to?
(Hint: less than 3% )

The real difference is Repubs only care about this when it's a Democrat in office.

If you guys gave a damn about wages, you would realize that the problem transcends a "D" or an "R" next to the president's name. It's been stagnating for decades (especially considering inflation), but some people only notice under their political opponent's presidencies...

For most workers, real wages have barely budged for decades | Pew Research Center
In Trump’s first year, stocks soar for rich, but wages stay flat

Check out the time-scale on the below graph. Check out the slope which is the same between Obama & Trump.

The two best statistics for judging this assertion both show wage growth. One of them, however, shows growth that’s barely above inflation, meaning that Americans wouldn’t necessarily keep any more of their income in their pocket.

People can hate Trump for social issues and very much dislike who the guy is personally (I can't stand the guy), but to act like the things Trump is doing won't significantly help the economy is to stick your head in the sand.

Depending on just how much it helps the economy will be the thing that decides whether Trump has a second term.

Maybe, maybe not.
I read a lot of the left dominated news and they have been absolutely attacking all that they don't like about him personally with a brutality against a sitting politician the likes that I have never seen in my life.
Places like HuffingtonPost and Vox have never hidden their biased agenda. Places like Time, Newsweek, Yahoo News, FOX and even CNN used to at least have a modicum of journalistic integrity but I don't see it these days. I see journalistic malpractice. Kinda sucks when you see more accurate news from Al Jazeera than you what you see in the MSM.

Poor tRUmp. Does he ever get to take responsibility for his own actions? Or does the media make him lie every time he opens his mouth?

I might take your opinion seriously if you had the maturity to debate without childish insults of a person's name and instead used an actual intelligent statement. Besides that, you completely failed to honestly respond to what I said.

Go eat a cookie, it will make you feel better.

Its cool, after reading your sig, I never took you seriously either. You should propably stop feeling sorry for the Russian puppet because you think the media is just too hard on him though. They are only reporting the things he says and does after all.

Seriously though, saying 'tRUmp' is just faster than saying Russian Puppet every time.

Which quarter of GDP growth for 2017 is the underperforming outlier. Hint, it's the one with the first 2 months of the Trump administration. Naturally President Trump should have waved his magic wand to repair Obama's moribund economy on the afternoon after his inauguration.

Slow wage growth is an effect of a slow growth economy like what Obama crafted over 8 years. Again, Trump failed because he didn't wave his magic wand to fix the problem immediately. Never mind the major employers and giving bonuses in 2018 thanks to tax reform, wages didn't explode in 2017 so Trump failed.

I thought the folks that supplied the fake Russian dossier were the Russian puppets. That's all we know for sure, the rest are just hopes and dreams.

Don't worry RS, as soon as the Dems take control again they will do everything they can to make sure the economy goes south, so they can blame Trump and the right for it.

If Trump stays in office with Repubs in power, we can expect this economy to go crazy for at least another 7 years or more, depending on when the next left wing administration gets in power to raise taxes and throw down 1,000's of regulations.
