No Mr. "F it" I see what the stock market and construction market is doing right now. General Contractors in Las Vegas are seeing old projects that were put on hold years ago firing up now. I just had to hire an independent contractor to help with estimating and bidding new projects coming on line. You can believe what other Libs tell you. But I'm living it Baby!!!!!

Correct, Into my employees pockets. I give out regular bonuses based on company profits, I already have my retirement in place, and I am not greedy.

I knew that Winston was talking about real v. nominal value which goes into things like buying power and actual take home pay today vs. previous years... There's tons of things implicated by his assertion of talking in "real dollars."

HOWEVER, when it comes to your compensation philosophy (from the scant information you have provided here), I would suggest you are the exception and not the rule when it comes to developing compensation packages for employees in context of net profit.

Yes, that corporate America lies when they say increasing wages would hurt profits. It only hurts their personal pay.

Well luckily slavery does not exist anymore. No one has to work for those type people. I could make more money for myself, but I would not have the great employees that I have. I would constantly be looking for new people. I know that I am much different because I am a small business, but it would seem to me that it would work for other businesses. Unless it is a brain dead widget factory. I don't see how a box folder, or a floor sweeper can make a living wage anywhere in the universe.
