You might want to take a second and do a little reading....

We have cost competitive energy efficient technology available now. The example you gave is only affordable for the 1% with government subsidies. What do you have against the 99% that you want to prevent them from availing themselves of this technology in favor of toys for the rich? What do you have against the middle class that they must be enslaved by higher taxes to pay for the extravagance of wealthy leftists?

I like them all. I just think Americans being against American automakers because of politics is chicken excrement.

I'm not against auto makers for political reasons. I look at GM as a failure of a business and begging for tax payer money was the wrong thing to do. Ford on the other hand propped themselves up so I would choose them to do business with.

I don't mind electric vehicles either. What I do mind is tax subsidies in an attempt to make them competitive. They need to be able to compete for their market share.

Exactly, if the have to be subsidized it means they are not competitive in the free market. Stop the subsidizes and watch them fade away.

You seem excited about that notion. How anti American can a guy get. I can just hear you now "Our forefathers didn't need hybrids and we don't either"
