but again if it were just "guidelines" and not mandates threats, demands and unhinged name calling and
mandates for travel and entrance into schools, work, and shops then there would have been little controversy.

Trump encouraged Vaccines and Masks and Distancing... as well as a kitchen sink of other things.
Seems the left is only group that thinks obeying the gov't officials about Covid is the ONLY right way to go. As long as the Dems are in charge that is.

And who was it that said they would not take a vaccine that Trump had anything to do with? It wasn't Republicans. Kamala Harris and Andrew Cuomo are two that come to mind.

And on the flip side , while the left complained bitterly about the times Trumps didn't wear mask or social distance to their satisfaction.
When people on the left did the same and worse regularly it was somehow "political" to point it out.


"It's not political" is a GREAT sentiment, but when the, MOSTLY left leaning, "leadership" in the U.S. hammered the public with lectures & draconian mandates of all kinds but regularly REFUSED to follow the "undoubtedly life saving!" rules themselves.
Sorry, they've made it political.
