My personal opinion is that they should have rushed the hearings and called for a vote since it would have been a cold day in hell before Garland would have been confirmed.
Doesn't it irk you that your party is so blatantly corrupt?

Whatever. They will never do this. But I wouldn't like it. I just want the ones who serve not to be blackmailed, threatened or bribed. A tall order in this day and age.

And now, here we are. President Trump has his nomination confirmed. In spite of DiFi's best attempts with outright fabricated attempts, Kavanaugh it is. Maybe we dumb uneducated righties ain't so dumb after all.

Unless you come up with something better than you currently have, President Trump will get his third.
This is Trump and his supporters in a nutshell. Bragging about the evisceration of hundreds of years of ethical norms just so you can get your way. Itís shameful.

As I recall from the ancient days when civics was taught in schools instead of relying on politicians talking points the Senate is elected by the people as well. The Constitution gives the Senate the power to set it's own rules of order including the process of nomination confirmation.

It's hilarious to see Democrats strut around invoking ethical norms and high moral principles after making the loathsome Harry Reid majority leader for 6 years. Harry blew up the filibuster for judicial nominees to the lower courts, abused the reconciliation process to avoid a filibuster of Obamacare, bypassed the requirement that spending Bill's originate in the House, ignored more than 60 Obamacare reform bills, routinely used parliamentary maneuvers to block amendments to bills, and blatantly lied from the Senate floor about a political opponent not paying taxes boasting about it after the election. Harry Reid doesn't automatically excuse Republicans for exercising the prerogative to refuse Garland a vote but their support for Reid's destruction of Senate norms and abuse of procedures exposes the hypocrisy of their outrage over Garland being deprived of a vote.

No, you don't know sh!t. Like GetaClue said it's being discussed everywhere. The Forum was "discussing" the issue.
When I did a search there were at least 20 items. You don't like what I picked then do your own homework or stfu.
One can lead a horse to water, can't make him drink. ......One can lead a liberal to knowledge and get the same result.

But you are right. Half the crap on forums is BS like what you post here..

This is the perfect irony...

The Left wants to pack the Supreme Court, but it's Trump that is "eviscerating" ethical norms...

The Left wants to get rid of the Electoral College, but it's Trump that is "eviscerating" ethical norms...

The Left wants to destroy the healthcare insurance industry, but it's Trump that is "eviscerating" ethical norms...

It's like yelling, "I don't like idiots that use the word `idiots`!"...

Kierkegaard described this board's progressives with precision, ďThere are two ways to be fooled. One is to believe what isn't true; the other is to refuse to believe what is true.Ē

This is known as the fallacy of the complex question. (In short, it cannot be answered by a simple "yes" or "no."

That is because it is really two questions rolled into one: (1) Is the Republican Party corrupt? and (2) If so, does that upset you?)
