Yvette Felarca apparently crossed that line. She was charged with inciting a riot and assault. The aggrieved protesters at Evergreen crossed the line but not much will happen to them.

BLM and antifa had every right to obtain a permit and hold a rally, but I don't think they did.

FALSE - The ULTIMATE reason for the First Amendment was to protect civil political discourse.

The word "freedom" is often misinterpreted by the political-right that embrace it as granting "license" for a person to do whatever they damn well please. In the world of political philosophy the word "freedom" refers to the much more limited Right of Liberty of the Person to "Exercise" their Inalienable (natural) Rights.

"Hate Speech" is an act of aggression against "people" and no one has a "Right" to commit an act of aggression against another person or people.

It is interesting that this comes in wake of of the recent Charlottesville events where White Nationalists, White Supremacists, Neo-Nazi's, and the other factions of Richard Spencer's Alt-Right movement came together over the weekend.

The history of the White Nationalists and White Supremacists is clearly documented because they've been advocates for starting a violent race war for at least decades and probably since the traitors against the Constitutional government if the United States took up arms in open rebellion during the Civil War and were eventually suppressed (and granted presidential pardons for treason). This campaign for a race war is clearly documented.

The Manson murders were based upon Charles Manson's white supremacist version of "Helter Skelter" with the purpose of starting a race war.

The White Supremacy group "The Order" actively engaged in robberies, including the robbery of an armored truck near Ukiah CA in 1984, to secure funding for a violent race war to overthrow the United States government and the money they obtained by violent armed robberies was distributed to factions of the KKK for the purpose of starting race war and overthrowing of the US government.

Until finally ended by a SPLC lawsuit the KKK had annual meetings in Idaho where they engaged in military training for their race war to overthrow of the Constitutional government of the United States and install a White (WASP Male) Supremacy government.

This same goal of a race war is being pushed behind the senses by the current figures on the White Nationalist/White Supremacy/Neo-Nazi/Alt-Right leaders today and those are the people that the "Trump Supporters" are defending. They're the ones advocating violence and treason against our government.

On Saturday Donald Trump failed to focus on the fact that is was the White Nationalist/White Supremacy/Neo-Nazi/Alt-Right that came to Charlottesville with hate, violence and treason in their hearts. Only reluctantly did Trump finally condemn White Supremacy and Neo-Nazism yesterday (omitting the Alt-Right and White Nationalists from his statements) but he didn't attack their leaders.

Not one word of rejection by President Trump addressing David Duke's statements that the White Nationalist/White Supremacy/Neo-Nazi/Alt-Right were in Charlottesville to fulfill Trump's agenda. Not one word of condemnation of Richard Spencer and his Neo-Nazi "Alt-Right" that proudly stood giving the Nazi salute in celebration of Trump's election win.

Who did Trump personally attack.

Trump personally attacked Merck CEO Kenneth Frazier that withdrew from the president's economic advisory panel because the President had failed to condemn Nazism and Racism by the demonstrators in Charlottesville. Trump attacked a reporter for questioning him about why it took two days for Trump to condemn the racists.

Trump's statements of condemnation were the most disingenuous statements of condemnation to ever come out of a President.

Not once did Donald Trump refer to the vehicular homicide by James Fields Jr in Charlottesville VA as a terrorist attack, apparently because Fields isn't a Muslim, ignoring the fact that the White Nationalist/White Supremacy/Neo-Nazi/Alt-Right are the primary threat of terrorism in the United States according to US law enforcement organizations.

The White Supremacy movement is referring to the murder of Heather Heyer as a "road rage" incident and condemning the violence in Charlottesville on the police department.

The DOJ, under AG Jeff Sessions, is more interested in investigating the actions of the Charlottesville police than it is in investigating the White Nationalist/White Supremacy/Neo-Nazi/Alt-Right that was demonstrating in Charlottesville. Trump's proposed budget has slashed funding to organizations that oppose hate groups in America.

President Trump has still failed to condemn the terrorist bombing of the Minnesota mosque that occurred over a week ago that was allegedly carried out by White Supremacists.

President Trump has yet to apologize for the blatantly racist statements he made during his campaign that were universally condemned by both Democrats and Republicans in Congress.

Like Trump his supporters seek to condemn others that oppose the hatred and the racism in America instead of condemning the racism, hatred, violence and treason advocated for by the White Nationalist/White Supremacy/Neo-Nazi/Alt-Right in America. They ignore Steven Bannon's call for the White Nationalist/White Supremacy/Neo-Nazi/Alt-Right to "Roll out the Hate" when he was the editor of Brietbart News.

In this thread Trump supporters seek to equate the fight by Black Lives Matters against the racial prejudice of law enforcement against blacks in America with the hatred, racism, violence, and treason of the White Nationalist/White Supremacy/Neo-Nazi/Alt-Right movement so let us address that next.

First the dishonestly must be addressed. The quotations cited did not come from Patrisse Cullors, one of the founders of the Black Lives Matter movement, nor do they represent any statements made by the leadership of the Black Lives Matter movement.

These were impulsive reactionary chants by those that showed up at a Black Lives Matters demonstration over the alleged murder of a black man by police that were edited out of the context of the protest and posted on YouTube. The chants were metaphorical and not literal in context, not representative of the BLM leadership, as opposed to the statements of hatred made by the leaders of the White Nationalist/White Supremacy/Neo-Nazi/Alt-Right movement that are literal in context and generally understated as opposed to overstated.

Patrisse Cullors is arguably correct that the First Amendment does not protect hate speech. While the ACLU has defended groups like the KKK in it right to freedom of speech on political issues that does not extend to hate speech that advocates the violations of law or the Constitution. Much of the rhetoric of the leadership of the KKK and other racist hate groups falls outside of the First Amendment protections because it's advocacy for the violations of the rights of minorities in America. When the leadership of the KKK or other racist White Nationalist/White Supremacy/Neo-Nazi/Alt-Right movement advocates a race war or acts of terrorism that is not protected speech under the First Amendment.

The leaders of these extremist right-wing hate groups walk a fine line in their hate speech because the advocacy is often implied and not explicit but we can see the results in the heinous atrocities being committed by the members of these hate based organizations where murder and terrorism are often the result. It is because of the actions of the members of these movements, based upon implied directions, that makes them a threat to the United States and the safety of the American people.

When are members of the political-right going to address the problem? The problem is not those that are fighting for equality in America that condemn the extremist right-wing hate groups. The problem for America is the hate groups and the anti-minority prejudice that exist under the umbrella of right-wing social conservative political ideology.

There are wonderful people that hold right-wing political ideologies but according to studies they only represent about 20% of all Republicans. While perhaps it's wrong for me to issue a mandate there should be a self-imposed mandate on these Republicans to eliminate the racial and religious prejudice in the other 80% of Republicans. Only they have that power that they can exercise from within the Republican Party to accomplish that. No one else can do that because the Republicans refuse to listen to anyone else when it comes to racial inequality and oppression in the United States.

It's other Republicans, the 20%, that need to condemn Donald Trump and that need to condemn the racism and hatred of racial and ethnic minorities and the religious intolerance that's blatant within the Republican Party. They need to stand up against opinions expressed in threads like this one. I can provide the truth but those Trump supporters won't listen to me. They're too wrapped up in their own prejudice for an outsider to reach. They might even be too wrapped up in their own prejudice for honest Republicans with integrity, moral convictions, and a belief in our Constitutional government to reach.

Today these wonderful Republicans that actually care about our country, the Constitution, and the ideology that America was founded upon are disparaged within the Republican Party by being labeled as RINO's by the extremists. Do they have a chance? I don't know but the future of America is really in their hands.
False The ultimate reason was to insure that Congress shall make no law. There is no mention of why free speech is permitted.

I never thought I would see the day that I was forced to defend the actions of neo nazis, but here we are.
I am not shocked.

No it does not. BLM is a Soros funded organization, and is dividing our country. It should be banned and anyone who says other wise jailed for several years.

They are THE RACISTS in America today.

I'll try to be gentle here.

Please re-read what you just posted, as it relates to what I posted.

If we permit someone else's speech to be limited or stopped, no matter how much we may dislike it, then 'your speech' may also be limited or stopped.

Sorry, I get angry easily these days. Every morning the National news gets under my skin, with their lies and spin.

I respectfully retract the post I made about BLM. They have rights as well.

But the left also has to recognize they lost the election, America has spoken loud and clear. Just look at the beating the left took in the States as well and National Government..
